So I've been alive for a year and a half. Which means I've been alive for 1% of Bernie Madoff's prison sentence.
And I wanted to take a few minutes to update people on my vocabulary. So, without further ado, here is Spencer's Dictionary, 1st edition:
Bye: What you say when someone leaves your house or whenever someone passes by you on the street
Hi: What you say when your dad says "say hi"
Mama: The woman who I run to for attention
Dada: The man I run away from when he chases me
Up: Where my dad brings me when I say "up"
Duck: Any bird that looks kind of like a duck. See also: goose, rooster.
Dog: Things that poo in the street without wearing diapers
More: What you say when you want another 50 grapes for dinner instead of actual dinner
Again: What you say when you want dada to give you another razzberry
Apple: Any fruit that's kind of round, whether or not it's actually an apple
Papaya: Any fruit that's not quite round...same deal
Hippo: A big fat pig looking thing
Bubbles: What my dad blows and I try to pop
Yeah: Response to anything that seems to be ok
Wawa: clear liquid
Agua: clearo liquido (I'm bilingual already)
Caballo: horseo
Adela: A person I know who is very very nice
Ball: Anything round that I can throw
Wow: What you say when your dad says "wow"
Yay: What you say when you clap my hands
Dis: This
Dat: That
Choo Choo: A train. duh.
Now, of course, I know a lot more words that that - thousands and thousands, and I use them frequently when I write the blog. But i've been pacing myself on using the words to talk. And I have new words I'm wowing my parents with every day!
Where do I get all these mad language skeelz, you ask? Reading! Here I am reading with my friend Ishaan!
I wanted to post a few more cute-o-rific pictures of my favorite toddler....me.
And I figured I'd throw in a couple of family shots. I like my family. They're goofy.
Love,
Spencer
